ParaNorman

Zombies, ghosts, and Shakespeare sounds like a recipe for disaster, and that is exactly what it is. ParaNorman, directed by Sam Fell and Chris Butler, is a 2012 Academy Award nominee for best animated picture about a young boy named Norman who has a special gift (or curse) to be able to see and talk to ghosts in a small, New England town. Along with his friend, sister, her crush, and his bully, they work together to fix the 400 year curse that plagues their town in this stop-motion animation family comedy horror thriller! With many underlying themes, Norman struggles with ridicule from the town, a witch, and his own demons to save the town, the witch, and himself.
