My loves

These I have loved:
The old smell of comic books
The crisp pages and bright colors
Autumn leaves with splashes of red and yellow
The loud noise of music blasting through headphones
The cool breeze on a brisk morning
The bright sun in your eyes on a warm sunny day.
A softball hitting the bat in just the right spot
Hitting a perfect pitch watching the ball go far
Walking out in the cold rain
Getting handed a test you got a perfect grade on.

These I have loved

These I Have Loved:
Summer nights, late night hanging with friends.
Camping, hearing the crickets chirp.
Hearing the crackling from a bonfire at night.
Sitting with family around the fire with family.
Swimming in middle of a hot summer day in a lake
The smell of the water, getting up early in the morning.
The laughter of friends and family enjoying themselves.

Nightmare

There I was in a dark spooky jungle when this thing grabbed. Of course I had no idea what it was. I looked all over it was very quiet and mysterious. I turned all the ways in each direction in this dark jungle. Then I heard something from the trees. I begin to head that way. Slowly creeping towards it I stumble upon this bush where the noise was coming from. I did not stop without thinking, I was still concerned what grabbed me. Waiting for it to come around. I was getting very hot. This thing picked me up again. Moving me to places acting like I was something to play with. It slowly brings me to its face and screams in my whole face feeling the slobber slimy stuff hitting my face, my heart was beating fast. I feared this thing was trying to eat me. I wiggled to get away and dropped to the ground. I saw what it looked like. It looked like this furry gorilla, but it had a different type of body to it. Some things around this thing it was slimy though, I feared for running very fast, but every move I made it kept moving me. It was like it could find me anywhere. Then I decided to jump off to this cliff and woke up.

Where are you, Friday?

Mondays make me sad
the lack of sleep ,
but turn that frown upside down, sugar
You're in a treat!
It's pizza day today!
My favorite
This makes my life
It's not so sad anymore.

An Adventure Most Bizarre

Ready for breakout
We’ve no room for doubt
The guards shoot and shout
Ghosts slip away in the night
Hermits march ahead
Bounties on our heads
The magician read
The Tarots and we’ll be alright

Roaming the countryside
We’ve got a man to find
To settle a family score
Follow the arrow marks,
Bloodstains, and snide remarks
We’re rocking his world to the core

So make up and break up
and shut up and get in the car

For an adventure most bizarre

Home

These I have loved
Freshly printed papers
Clean sheets and clean body
Sitting around a warm campfire with family while the stars twinkle above
The smell of campfire laced in clothing
Gooey marshmallows on s’mores that stick to the sides of your mouth
Warm sand slipping through fingers
A picture that actually turns out how you want
Music with raw emotion in it
A perfectly painted nail
Finishing a long book
Rough pages rushing under fingertips
Fruits that snap between teeth
Warm hugs from friends who care
Relaxing after a long day
Hot showers washing away worries
Grandma’s freshly baked rolls, covered in melted butter

And a bed covered in blankets, waiting to aid in a long night’s sleep.

Lovely Beings

These I have loved:
Steady rain, pitter-pattering on the roof;
Surprise miracles, happy and giggle-inducing;
Clever comebacks, unsuspecting and unrelenting;
New knowledge, creating new mindsets and ideas;
Fluffy familiar blankets, cuddly and comforting;
Wonderful people from past and present;
New sheets, chic and fitting;
Early morning sunshine, alone and refreshing;

The most lovely art, both inanimate and lively.

This I Believe

 I believe in karma. What comes around goes around. If you are nice to someone, they will most likely be nice to you. If you are spreading negativity, that is what you will receive. I think this is such a good thing to believe in and live by. I have found that when
I am more negative, I feel worse at the end of the day. When I am positive, I feel more happy and relaxed at the end of the day.  Sometimes, I find it hard to be positive. I have a hard time trying find the good in my life. I know that there are many things to be happy about in my life and I do not want to be one of those people who are miserable in life because of how they treat people and how they live their life. Right now, I am so grateful for everyone in my life and all the things that surround me.

Here and There

Here I am sitting in kindergarten with all my little friends
Here I am moving to a different state
There I am hugging my mother
There is the time I choked on a corndog and almost died
Here I am laughing with my sister
Here I am in 5th grade learning how to play the clarinet
There I am moving to Nebraska
Here I am on my first day of middle school
There I am graduation the 8th grade
Here I am starting a new chapter in my life: high school
There I am standing in the hallway with my friends
Here I am being a moody teen and hating high school
Here I am as a senior in high school, where I have always wanted to be.

These I Have Loved

These I have loved:
Warm pepperoni slices and garlic bread,
Cats wrapped in blankets with bad bed-head,
Laying on top of a thick new snow
Relaxing as I start to sink below,
Filling my wallet with crisp, fresh bills,
The rise of my stomach flying over the hills,
The rhythmic chanting of a long
Soft and content sailors’ song,
A tire-to-the road rapid-pace in-your-face
Electrifying drift-round-the-corner Eurobeat race,
A freshly sharpened pencil softly gliding,
The warmth of a crackling flame so inviting,
The hand over the mouth that lets you see
That a joke hit its mark perfectly,
Single space font expanding to double space,
Seeing an entire page highlighted and erased,
The feel of a first place medal in hand,
Body surfing a wave right up to the sand,
Laying down that last card in a game of speed,
A rush through your brain after a heavy read,
The guitar solos and “C’mon!” sung high
At the beginning of 8-Second Ride,
Biting into a big-kat kit kat,
The entirety of TAZ at that,
And everything else that I adore

I’ve loved till now and ever more.

These I have loved:
The smell of new books fresh out of the store
Getting comfortable and watching a new movie
Relaxing in my warm bed with the sound of a fan
The smooth feeling of freshly shaved legs against warm, clean sheets
Warm summer air touching my skin
Laying on the beach and getting tan
Strawberry cheesecake
Finishing a tube of Chapstick
CHOCOLATE
Beautiful views
Drinking water in the middle of the night
Gas station food
Looking through old pictures
Mcdonalds

And so many other things!

These I have loved

These I have Loved:
A plush blanket’s warm embrace;
Feeling of accomplishment after finishing a project;
The face of an innocent baby animal;
Crack of thunder in the distance, the smell of cool rain,
Smell of a freshly mowed lawn,
Crunching leaves on a brisk fall night,
Ice crisply breaking while taking a step;
Whistling along to a favorite tune;
Confidence of a new outfit;
The sparkle of an explosion of color;
Comfort of ice cream on a hot summer day;
Paws jumping on me after a long time away;
Sleeping in your own bed after a vacation;
A mostly empty movie theater;
Having the entire family home for a day;
A cold glass of UNsweet tea;
The first warm day after a long winter;
Falling asleep to a soothing shower of rain;
Breathing through the nose after stuffy nose;

These I will always love and many, many more.
