I've done it so much it's practically tradition

Most people have a routine.
Some have a schedule.
Me?
I’ve been doing the same things for so long that it’s practically a tradition.
Want proof?

Everyday I wake up two hours before school starts.
I go upstairs, eat a bagel topped with peanut butter, and go back downstairs.
I get dressed, brush my teeth, do my hair, and get ready to leave.
I go to school, sometimes on the bus, sometimes in a car, but always at least half an hour before school was even close to being started.

Go to school.

Go to practice

Go home.

Every Monday night is scouts, Sunday Morning is Church.

24 hours a day
7 days a week
5 weeks a month
9 months a year
11 YEARS OUT OF MY LIFE.

I HAVE HAD ESSENTIALLY THE SAME SCHEDULE SINCE KINDERGARTEN. IT’S BEEN SO LONG THAT IT PRACTICALLY IS TRADITION.

Of course this is probably a reality for many students in these United States, but still, that only amplifies the idea that this should be counted as a custom.

But that doesn’t stop me from doing it every day. I still wake up, do the same thing every weekday, and go to sleep. I still stay to what I do, do what I know, and know that I’m probably in for a massive shock when I have to do something DIFFERENT than what is normal after I graduate. Then again, that’s also customary for students.
