A little girl,
A special day
Santa's here!
Giving gifts away.
She waits in line,
Surely her turn will come,
An old shoebox,
And all has begun.
A stuffed gray bunny,
Ears bent at the sides,
A new beginning,
A friend arrived!
This bunny so dear,
She holds to her heart,
Keeping her near,
For they will never part.
