The monster MED

I am afraid of the future.
Some may call it anxiety, some may call it simply overthinking.
I call it foreshadowing.
We live in a world of oceans full of waste and dangerous truck stops.
We live in a world of people who open fire on elementary schools without feeling remorse.
We live in a world that bombs for peace.
We live in a world of divorce and separated families,
children packing their bags to stay at dads for a weekend.
We live in a world of hate.
But I am not afraid of the future.
Some might call it being blindsided.
I call it foreshadowing.
We live in a world of oceans full of advanced technologists who
eliminate waste from the water and cops that patrol trafficking to keep us safe.
We live in a world of people who throw themselves in front of bullets
to protect other people’s children without feeling regret.
We live in a world that fights for our people.
We live in a world where you have the choice to walk out on a toxic relationship.

We live in a world of love.
