Stealing Lines Poem

 Oh, Christmas

Filled with jolly Saint Nicholas.

The glow from the fireplace

Warms a child’s bright red face.

The North Pole is filled with cheer

And nut crackers are loud so all can hear.

Sugarplums dance in children’s sleepy heads

As silver bells line their warm and cozy beds.

For dinner, Grandma makes dough

As she looks outside at the beautiful dusting of snow.

Rooms become filled with colorful debris

After gifts are opened by you and me.

Ugly sweaters are worn with pride

And sleds go down hills, they glide!

Peppermints, candycanes, and hot cocoa fill one with glee

And lights twinkle beautifully on the Christmas tree.

Reindeer trot merrily on rooftops

While poinsettia leaves swiftly begin to drop.

Wreaths hang by snowy door steps

And Mistletoes end in passionate sweet pecks.

Homes smell sweetly of gingerbread

And ornaments are colored reindeer nose red.

Churches echo Silent Night

Man, Christmas is quite the glorious and peaceful sight.
