Friday Night Fun

Friday night was a blast, probably the most fun I had ever had, Not because of the game, but because of the people I hung out with, Namely Jessica Bauld, Tanner Bauld, their two cousins, Emery Nelson, Jake Daniels, and a few others. I gave advice and I earned advice, We listened to music and talked about life. It was one if not, the best night of my life.

Blast from the past

When I was around 5-6 years old there was Sadie and Jessica hanging out at our house and they thought that they could scare me with a heavy big rock. But guess what? They couldn’t even pick it up together so when I was playing with leaves and found these big leaves it was around fall when the day was and I was like what does a leaf taste like so I ate a leaf and then I ran to Sadie and Jessica. I said, “ whatcha doing?'' I handed them leaves and I was like ``I think I can pick that big rock up all by myself.” They both laughed at me and then I walked over to the rock and I picked it up and above my head and started chasing them. Jessica was screaming and I just laughed all the way. I never got tired of it. It was so much fun that I stopped to get a soda.

notes poem

 The Notes app

Life is hard

I hate how some of the people I used to love most no longer have a place in my life

I haven’t deserved any of this, mom even warned me about you

You can’t pick and choose when to be my friend

I’m so tired of others not being able to own up to treating others poorly

my friend moved away I miss her

You shouldn't have said anything, now I can’t stop thinking about you

I’m angry at myself for holding on just because I was scared to be alone

My own bed isn't even a safe place anymore because I know you lied there with me

The way you always play victim makes me cringe

You chose alcohol over your family, there are no second chances, not from me

I’m so tired of being tired

This town is so suffocating

No pets allowed at the new house, half of my family is going to be gone in a month

Found a way to keep the pets, I don't know what I would have done

Cheer is starting soon im excited, the freshmen are funny

My friends moving back Im so excited-getting coordinating Hoco dresses

My familys getting a fresh start and im so happy

I cooked my first steak last night mom said it was good

My dads really stepping up, Im proud of him

My sister committed to her dream school. She makes me beyond proud

I made some new friends they’re all so sweet

I’m moving on slowly but surely

Life is good.

What is a Crust?

“I’ve seen someone take the crust off an uncrustable.”

A simple sentence that makes my brain spiral.

But it’s an uncrustable?

Therefore there should be no crust?

Do they mean the pinched ends?

But is that a crust?

Do you call the pinched ends of a dumpling a crust?

It’s even in the name, uncrustable.

There should be no crust.

Words have come together in a sentence that doesn’t make sense.

An oxymoron.

A paradox.

An improbable possibility.

What is a crust?

We call the top-most layer of Earth a crust.

Bread crust.

But what else is crust?

What is crusty?

Crusty is also the name of youtuber Safiya Nygaard’s cat.

I’m tired.

Rainy Days

Watching the soft droplets hit the window.

Stepping outside and feeling the cool breeze wisp through the trees and hit my face.

The smell of wet air fills my nose.

The splashing sound of me jumping into the puddles.

The soft tap of the rain on my raincoat.

The soft roar of thunder echoing throughout the streets.

Watching the sun finally break through the grey clouds.

Rays of heat shine and glint of the wet streets.

See the sun finally reveals itself.

The Days That Count

Crisp red leaves flutter to the ground.

I can faintly see my breath before me.

The smell of hot chocolate and pine trees fills the air around me.

“The sun’s finally coming up!” My dad cries joyfully.

We scope our surroundings with our binoculars.

One after another, young bucks chase the scurrying doe.

The sun is shining through the trees now.

We watch, wait, and listen, almost like an intense game of hide- and -seek.

It seems like all the mature bucks want to do is hide...

But we don’t care,

‘cause we’re out in God’s country.

We’re doing what we love, where we love.

The glistening sun goes down and the sky turns to fiery water colors.

Stars begin to shine,

and faint smiles lie on our faces as we take the backroads home.

A Magical Chaos Project

Hello anyone who has decided to read my ramble! I would like to cordially welcome you to the chaos!

So...I couldn't originally decide how to start my first post of the 2021-2022 school year. I didn't know if I wanted to post a poem, a story, a collection of facts, a list of my weekly song addictions, or some random art project I find interesting. So, after a few days of stewing over my options, I decided to post one of my biggest art projects to date, which I think looks amazing. I am a bit biased though, oh well. Also, if you don't feel like reading my entire mess, scroll down to the bottom for pretty pictures! (Yay!)

This project of mine was a half-brained idea I came up with last Christmas break after my mom brought home Chinese food for supper. She knew that I quite enjoyed making wands from chopsticks and had gotten a few wooden disposable pairs that she thought I would enjoy. I was not expecting this though so later that night I sat in my art room brainstorming what I could do with all these chopsticks that had been thrust upon me oh so graciously. After sitting in there for about twenty minutes and trying to draw inspiration from my old artwork my eyes landed on a painting I did a few years back. This painting is by no means a masterpiece, but it always makes me giggle at the message behind it. This painting is of my friends and me as a superhero group called, "The Manifestos". Each of my friends and I had our own powers Sunny had Nature, Melody had Earth, Grass had Water, Shakespeare had Ice, and I had Fire. So after landing on this picture my brain immediately went, "Self, I have AN IDEA!!!"

So that night I got to work on a project that ended up taking me six months, mainly because I was busy, but also because sometimes I just didn't want to do anything. This project also had me buying at least six new acrylic paint colors, clear-cast resin, air dry clay, and small snowflake charms from Hobby Lobby. ( I looked for those snowflakes for six months, and then I gave up and ordered them from Amazon.) Anyways after months of redesigning, sculpting, painting, and gluing I produced nine wands. There was a main set of five that I would keep, and a duplicate for each of my friends of their power. From what I know they each really enjoyed their wands and I hope they will cherish them forever. (Or so help me I will cry.)

In the end, the process was long, but also very exciting and new, and it showed me how much I can accomplish when making these wands. I love how they turned out and, I am happy to have gotten the chance to discover new art mediums that I enjoy! Plus I loved being able to make something for my friends just for the challenge and fun of it! Well, that all I have to say, if you're still here though, I wish you a magical day!

Hate for the Stars.

I guess I always expected this.

With your heart emptier than the deepest abyss.

But I didn't think today would be the day,

That I would finally stray away.

From your malice and your pain,
I guess I always knew you were vain.

But I didn't think you could hurt me this way.

Oh, how I wish you would go away.

With you my fondest memory,

Which I would replay analyzing like a documentary.

However, you caused my worst which I remember so vividly,

In my mind full of creativity.

I painted you as the one who would be beside me.
but in reality, you would never love anyone as much as you love yourself.

But for too long you had me tucked far away behind the shelf.

Your words would crumble me down into dust.

You froze me there till the point I began to rust.

Enough is enough I will stand my ground,

I won't back down.

Because through all the pain you caused me,

I finally began to see.

I deserve someone to love me as much as I loved you.

And maybe someday you will realize that too.

Prologue

 June 3rd, 2017

Everything was spinning.

Jared coughed, struggling to keep his breathing steady.

A cool breeze blew gently through the grass below the hills. The sun had begun to rise, filling the sky with bright yellow and orange.  It would have been a peaceful sight for anyone, unless you happened to be Jared Patsin.

He knew he was overdosing, and unless he threw up the pills and received medical attention, he’d soon die. The hill wasn’t that far from home, and he knew almost every inch of the area.

Jared stumbled as he walked, making his way towards his destination entirely by feel.

His hand shakily brushed the rotting tree that made its home on the cliff.

Step by step, he climbed up the decaying tree, higher and higher. He felt the newly formed sunlight shine on his face.

His stomach burned, feeling as if the handful of pills he had recently downed had been replaced with burning hot coils. It was pure agony, but he knew all of this would be over soon.

Eyes unfocused and barely seeing, Jared began to hyperventilate, his eyes glazing over as he struggled to breathe.

He sat upon the one branch that could hold the stress of his weight, desperately trying to get his eyes to focus on the sunrise. Jared wanted the last thing he would ever see to be something calm and relaxing.

His eyes went in and out of focus, he could barely register what was going on. Jared clutched his stomach tightly, the pain becoming too much. He regretted everything, wishing he could make it back to the house in time.

His legs buckled as he attempted to stand, resulting in a snapping sound that echoed throughout the cliffs. Jared watched as his shadow got closer and closer to the rocks and decaying trees below. There was a sickening crunch that lingered in his ears as he felt himself hit the ground. He had fallen headfirst.

There was a bright light. Jared looked around, seeing absolutely nothing but whiteness. He couldn't feel, he couldn't think, he couldn’t do anything.

Invisible hands latched onto his legs, pulling him down, the white fading into complete and total darkness. His back fell against something indistinguishable. An invisible floor perhaps? Four  amorphous figures looked up at him.

From what he could see, the middle one had been the tallest, the two on the left and right had been roughly the same height, and the fourth and final one was the smallest, standing just up to the middle’s one kneecap.

Each member of the quartet were white blurs, their faces glowing with different emotions. Rage, terror, and misery on the smallest of the three, but the tallest one was the hardest to register. Acceptance? Trust? Boredom? It looked blank, being the only one out of the four who kept eye contact with Jared.

Blood-curdling noises erupted from the group, making Jared cover his ears instinctively. The ghostly figures just stood there, although the sounds coming from them were anything but normal.

Ear piercing screams and sobs circled the small space that Jared was unknowingly in. With great difficulty, Jared could make out three different voices that continued to plead to some unspecified source.

There were two sets of screams that sounded nearly identical, although one scream was out of fear and the other, out of fury. The sobbing continued to get louder and louder, banging repeatedly into Jared’s skull.

Jared couldn’t focus on their faces any longer as another flash of light blinded his eyes.

When he opened his eyes once again, there was a voice. A man hung directly above him, being held up by a safety rope. He shined the flashlight back onto Jared’s face, which Jared did not appreciate. “We found him.” There was one thought racing through Jared’s aching head as he was lifted to safety. What the hell just happened.

Tour of my life!

Hello there, welcome to the museum of my life! I hope you’re ready for a wild ride! Our first stop is the day I wrecked my bike and scratched up my knees so bad that my mom had to carry me inside. The next stop is when I developed the fear of snakes. The way they move really freaks me out, and they are like devils without horns or feet. Now let’s go over here and watch the video of the time I decided it would be fun to bounce on the slide of our bounce house and hit my butt on the ground. I hurt for days. Let’s go over here to watch a film about how my love for dance has grown throughout the years. After the film, we are gonna go upstairs to see a 3-D map of the places I have traveled and all the places I am gonna travel to. You can even tap on the red dots, and pictures that my family took while on the trip will pop up. Now off to your left is a room and I do warn you guys this room is full of my heartbreak. Pictures of family members I have lost and stories of us together. I do want to make sure you guys know before entering just in case some want to sit out this one. After you guys cry, I decided to show you the room full of little kids. Babysitting has been a huge part of my life so I decided to make a room full of pictures of the kids I watched. Everyone needs to gather around for this next room because it is full of food for you guys to try. All the food is items I have tried. Oh! You guys have to try some salmon! After everyone is done eating I will take you guys to the basement and down here are all the dreams I have had at night. Look here is my favorite one. It is about me being a spy and kicking butt while breaking men’s hearts. Oh, here comes the best part, (I do a two-second change in a photo booth so I don’t get caught for punching out the guy in the corner). That dream was so cool.

“Hey, Miss Emma!” A little girl says. She was pointing to the next room.

Behind this next door is my future. I have never been behind these doors because I don’t want to know my future. My path always changes. Every week construction workers come and change that room. You guys can all go in there if you want. If you choose to go in, that is the end of the tour. When you get done there is a gift shop by the front door with a whole bunch of different things for sale. Please come again to the museum of my Life! I hope the tour wasn’t too crazy, but if so that is just life for you. You never know what to expect.

Insomnia at it's Finest

   Are you going to sleep?

                                                                             Yes, now be quiet.

But did you lock the door?

                                                                              I’m pretty sure.

You should go check.

No. I need to get to sleep.

What if someone is in your house now?

No one else is in my house.

They could kill you at any moment,

all because you didn't lock the door.                Fine. I’ll go check. Just for you.

Sooooo?                                                            It was locked. Now let me sleep.

Are you sure it’s locked?

Yes. I’m going to sleep now.

I thought I heard the door open.

Good for you. I’m going to sleep.

There’s someone in the hallway, turn on the light.

                                                                                There’s no one there.

It can’t hurt to check.

Would it really make you feel better if I check?

Yes.

Look there's no one there. Now I’m going to bed.

Okay, but have you drank water today?

I’ll drink some in the morning.

You shouldn’t go to bed dehydrated.

Well, you shouldn’t be keeping me up!

I’m being serious.

                                                                     So am I.

The kitchen is just down the hall,

go get water.                                                Okay, fine but this is the last time I’m getting up.

See, isn’t that better?

No, because now I’m going to have to go to the

bathroom later in the night and wait- what time even is it?

         It’s 2:49 AM.

Great. I have to get up in 4 hours. Please let me sleep.

Fine, but I have one more question.

                                                               What is it?

What if your entire life so far hasn’t been

real and you’re currently in a coma?                      What, why would I be in a coma?

Dunno. Maybe you feel out of bed and hit your head on the nightstand, so maybe you should move it away from your bed.

                                                                             Yeah, maybe..

That was also good exercise, you should go

on a walk in the morning.

                                                                             But I’ll be too tired.

Then go make coffee. Is the coffee pot on?

                                                                            I’ll go check.

What if there's a power outage tonight?

Why would there be a power outage? The

                                                                          the weather is fine.

Do you have enough money to buy a coffee just in case?

                                                                         I’m sure I do.

Double check.

Yes, I have enough money, now let me sleep.

But what if you get robbed.

                                                                         In my house?

Yes, because I’m pretty sure you didn’t

lock the door.

I already checked two times tonight!

Check again.

                                                                  Fine, yes it’s locked now-

Ooh! Look at the sunrise!

The sunrise? Are you kidding me?

It’s so pretty!

                                                                 I didn’t get any sleep.

That sounds like a “you” problem.

We are literally the same person.

Wait For What Happens After The Rain

Red was never an ambitious person. He always stuck to himself, never interacting much with the other colors surrounding him. But Red was sweet. He was kind-hearted and only wanted the best for all. One day, Red was walking home from school. It was a rainy day so the walk seemed a bit longer than usual. Before Red began to turn down his street, he caught Orange sitting on a bench out of the corner of his eye. He thought nothing of it until he heard her sobs through the rain pounding against the concrete. Red wanted to help her. He walked over there, but before he could get one single word out, Orange spoke up, “I don’t want your help.” Now Orange was a very independent color yet had many friends, so when she said this Red was not surprised. Red continued cautiously, saying, “What’s wrong Orange? I only want to help.” But Orange still sat there with her head hung low. “I want to show you something,” Red said, “Something that will blow your mind. I promise.” Red extended his hand to Orange. Before reaching out, Orange sheepishly looked up to Red, then grabbed a hold.

It was still raining, so both Red and Orange became drenched. “This is a perfect day for me to show you this, Orange,” Red said excitedly. But Orange did not agree, she despised the rain (which happened to be the reason she was crying before). “How could rain ever be perfect for anything? I hate it,” Orange stated. Red tried to convince her saying, “It’s more of what comes after the rain. I promise you, Orange. This is one of the most fantastic things I’ve ever been a part of. And I think you’re just what we’re looking for.” The rain started getting lighter and lighter so Red grabbed a hold of Orange’s arm and yanked her ahead in a hurry. Once they’d arrived at Red’s house, which was right outside of town, Orange was stunned to see all the other colors there. She had known how shy Red was, but to see him interacting with so many people at once intrigued her. Orange, the independent color she was, introduced herself in a high manner. Everyone was welcoming and they all sat around waiting for something. Orange was not sure but something Red had said really stuck with her. “It’s more of what comes after the rain,” she thought to herself. What was it? Why did they need me?

As the rain was about to cease and the sun started to peek through the dark and heavy rain clouds, Red pulled everyone outside, yelling, “It’s almost time everyone! Get into your places!” Red told Orange to stand next to him and on her other side stood Yellow, then Green, then Blue, Indigo, and finally, Violet. As confused as Orange was, she was ready to see what was finally going to happen. The sun fully came out from behind its shade, shining on all the colors that were standing in Red’s backyard. Suddenly, a burst of color lined the sky, starting from Red’s backyard and ending who knows where. “We call it a Rainbow,” Red whispered to Orange. She was completely stunned. “That’s absolutely beautiful,” Orange thought to herself. As the Rainbow continued on, you could almost hear a collective “Wow!” from the whole city. Red was right, this truly did blow Orange’s mind. And after that day, every time it rained, the whole group would gather again to create something so spectacular everyone could enjoy it, even Orange.

The Island Story

There I was riding along in my dog sled. Nine huskies were pulling the sleigh and fast too. I

was going back to my house in the country where most people didn’t live. I wanted to have a

Rough life in Alaska, so this is what it came to. Most of the houses in town were way too

expensive so I went for the cheaper option. As we were about to the cliff side, one of the dogs

stopped as the others ran into it. I jolted up with alarm and wondered what was going on.

I looked up and saw that the path was blocked by snow that must have fell off the mountain. I glanced around and saw that there was another path that I had never taken. I told the dogs to sit and wait there, as I went over to the road and went to see if it was possible to pass. I put one foot on it and pushed down with a little force, and made it was sturdy. Then I put my other foot on and with all my weight it held.

I took one more step and made sure that it was safe for me and my dogs. I didn’t want to risk their lives and mine all because we could get home. I was fully confident now, that it was safe to cross. I walked back to my dogs. I didn’t expect that the entire road would give way.

I looked at the last time I would see the dogs as they whimpered and tried to get me. They ran over with the sleigh still connected as the lead dog grabbed my coat sleeve. They pulled back with their might and pulled me up. I grabbed the ledge and pulled myself up. They all gather around me and licked me with kisses. I was glad that they were there to save me as I would have be--. You know what let's not talk about that. I hugged them and decided that we were going to find another way to get home.

I got back on the sled and went back to town, as that snow would be there for a while. I only had one friend here in Alaska. Her name was Rose. She had a local coffee shop in town, which meant she was always busy being a single owner and all. We never had time to catch up as neither did I. I was always fixing mistakes that my family left behind, like all the debts owed or people who wanted them dead. They fled the state after I turned 14 and left me with all their problems. Now that I am 18 and can finally leave in peace as my “family” is just dead to me.

I pulled into town and let my dogs off the sled and put them all on a leash even though that was  just a precaution. Rose lets me take my dogs in so they sit inside, not to mention it's just an animal cafe where you can relax with animals. I opened the doors and walked inside and looked over to see a very surprised rose.

“Wow, Skylar! I didn’t expect to see you here today, I thought you already left town,” she said as she walked over to me. “Ya, well I may or may not have almost been killed by a road of snow collapsing into a giant pit.” I jumbled out as she had a face of shock and worry. “SKY, you need to be more careful, you could have just came back to my place and waited for a clearing!” she said as one of my dogs went over to lick her hand. She smiled at him and patted his head, thanking him for the comfort.

“When do you close up?” I said looking over to her. “I close up around 6 so only an hour longer,” she said as I looked outside and noticed that it was getting dark.

“Hey how about you make me a coffee, you know the usual.” I said giving here a wink as she looked like she was holding back a laugh. She walked over to the counter and whipped up a black coffee with some french vanilla creamer. It was really all I got since all that other stuff just sounded plane stupid. I don’t want to have a sugar high every second of the day.

Rose walked over to me with my coffee in her hand. “Here you go Sky nice and vanilla just the way you like it, because it will be your last.” She said as she whispered something I couldn’t hear.

I smiled at her and took a sip. The warm liquid going down my throat and warming my core. “This is pretty good, bet you made it extra special for your pal.” I said as I wrapped my arm over her shoulder and her neck like a side hug. “Ya extra special anyways, how about we go to my place since you can’t make it home.” Rose said as she rushed around the place and turned off everything.

“Jeez, why are you in such a hurry, guess you missed me!” I said pointing to my face and smiled. She only nodded and continued to shut off the lights and made sure everything was off. After it was pitch dark she told me, “Please finish up your coffee as you could spill it on the way to my place.” I just nodded back and chugged the thing. I felt pain in my head and felt wussy. “Oh no Sky, are you okay, here let me help you lay down.” She said as I closed my eyes. “Heh nighty night Skylar.” I heard as I faded into black.

I jolt awake with worry and pain as to where I was and why my head hurt. I looked down and noticed I was strapped to a chair and I was trapped. I frown at that and glance around the room. I notice that a single light was on and a figure in a black coat stands there looking at me as I flinched. “Mmh” I moaned as I note that there is duct tape on my mouth. “Oh poor little Skylar, what’s wrong? Cat got your tongue?” The figure said as they had a girl voice while they walked over to me. I looked at them, I wanted to ask who they were but I put the pieces together. They grabbed the duct tape over my mouth and ripped it off. “Oww!” I yelled and glared at the person.

“How is my little buddy doing.” She said as she strolled over to the light again. “Why are you doing this, what did I do to you?” I said looking at them. “HAHA you’re so FUNNY Sky, how do you not KNOW this.” She said and continued laughing. I looked at her. “What did I do to you, I'm your best friend.” I said looking at her, trying to see her eye’s as they were covered by a shadow. “ME your BEST friend PLEASE, you must be joking.” She said as she slowly pulled off her hood and continued. “I'm more like your worst enemy.” She said pulling off her hood to reveal that it was Rose. I guess I was right.

Do you know what your FAMILY has done to mine?” She said continuing. “They put MY FATHER in jail because he took you in. All that we have done and that’s what he gets. PlEASE, you're the one that deserves it. But NO since you just turned 18 this year he has to go. Since he’ll be there for 3 years I have the perfect way to get my anger out.” She yelled at me and put a crazy smile on her face. “Just look at these, they are perfect, just for you FRIEND.” she said as she pointed at the table with what looked to be knives and other things I don’t want to name. I started to get scared. It wasn’t my fault for this. It’s my stupid family’s. I thought as she walked over to the table to grab a scalpel. “I'm going to love every seco-” She said as she was interrupted by the sound of the door bell. “I’ll be back for you, so don’t go anywhere, OH wait YOU CAN’T. HAHA!” She laughed as she threw the knife at me and went up the stairs.

The knife landed in my knee. I held back a scream and realized how stupid she was. Firstly, she sucked at throwing a knife and she just gave me a way to get out. I could just barely reach the knife and pulled it out of my knee. I cut the ropes around my arm and cut the rest on my body. I stood up but to my surprise fell straight back into the chair. My body was weak and my knee didn’t help me whatsoever. I slowly picked myself up and limped over to the stairs.

I just wanted to go home and sleep with my d-wait! Where are my dogs. I left them at the coffee shop! Where did she put them? I hear a whimper and glance to my left to see a horrid sight. They were tightly tied together in a cage with little to no room. I saw that it was locked and went over to her “toys” and grabbed a hammer and a knife. Just in case she wanted to fight.

I limped back to the cage and broke the lock and opened the door. All nine huskies jumped out and covered me in kisses. This was the second time they thought they were going to lose me. I hugged them all and stood up, I was ready to get the heck out of here. I should have never let them take me in. They all had their leashes on so I grabbed all nine and limped up the stairs. Even though they would follow me, I don’t trust Rose on what she would do. I was about to reach the top step when I heard her voice. “Okay I need you guys so follow me, but not too fast.” I told them as I walked up the last step, my hammer and knife in hand. Just in case she wanted to get violent.

I opened the door that lead to her and walked myself out. She was next to the door talking to someone. I was going to listen to what she said but I was too late as she slammed the door shut. She looked toward my direction and I darted behind a wall. I peeked over and saw her walk my way. Well it was now or never. I leaped out behind the wall and went into a fighting stance with my knife in my right hand.

She jumped a little and formed two fists. “Wow I'm surprised you got out, I thought I hit you in the throat,” she said. “Yeah, well that would have worked if you didn’t suck so much at throwing things.” I said glaring at her. “Well so be it.” She said taunting me.

I lunged at her and went straight for the heart, anger flowing through my veins. She jumped back straight into a wall. I cornered her and brought my knife to her face. She held back it with her arms and tried to push me on the ground. What she didn’t expect was for me to reach in my pocket and pull out my hammer. I bashed her in the head and she fell on the ground. I wanted to kill her, but I knew that wasn’t right. She was knocked out and I made sure of it by kicking her.

I walked over to the basement and told my dogs to come up. They ran to me and sat. I grabbed all their leashes and went to the door. I walked outside and found my sleigh sitting there and everything else I had was there. I harnessed all the dogs and sat down in the sleigh. I directed them to go home and they listened. As I was riding home I took in all the sights. I'm glad I got to see them again. We got to the mountain once again and saw that the snow pile was gone so we went straight through. As we finally made it home, I brought all the dogs inside and found my little cat Menchie waiting there for me. She jumped onto my shoulders and rubbed her head on my neck. I picked her up and hugged her. I put her down and went to the bathroom and wrapped my knee up.

The last thing I did was say goodnight to my dogs and Menchie. I also made sure that any door or window was locked so if Rose came here she couldn’t get in. I also called the police and told them what happened and that I got home safely. I closed my eyes and was glad that this day was over.
