all the way or not at all 

As school comes to an end 

I say goodbye to old friends 

Welcoming the new beginning ahead of me 

I walk into the fog of the future 

Stay relaxed 

Go with the flow 

To my understanding there is a love that I crave

But in life we do not always get what we want 

Love i can give to myself 

Boys shall be a waste of my time 

Something destined to hurt 

This summer is my chance to breathe freely 

I answer to no one 

I depend on nothing

I shall chase the sun until the stars take its place 

 i will not fear the darkness 

But dance under the beauty of a million sparkling lights 

May not a moment be wasted

May not a second be taken for granted 

May my youth flourish with happiness

From every sunset to sunrise

To never take a break from the joy of life 

To do the crazy things others see no purpose for 

I get but one life 

I choose to live mine freely 

I choose to take advantage of every waking opportunity 

I choose to hold myself to a standard 

To set my expectations high and lower them for no one 

This summer shall be a summer to remember 

One i may look back on years down the road 

And regret not a thing

Memories bursting from the seams

I do not know when my story will reach the end 

But i intend to cherish each breath, each stride, and each letter on the page
