I understand that I am not perfect

I understand that I may not do as you want

I understand why you may be upset

I pretend I don't hear you

I pretend like I am not upset

I pretend that everything is okay

I dream that one day I can get away

I dream about a perfect world without abuse

I dream of a world where everyone is equal

I cry for help i can't do this alone

I cry for recognition for my efforts

I cry for someone to care

I worry about our country

I worry about our world

I worry about the people around me

I am going to make a change

I am going to make a difference

I am going to get rid of the hate in this world

Even if it's the last thing I do.
