The Evolution of my "Nothing to Dos"

When I was little my “nothing to dos” turned into the most crazy adventures.
My siblings and I would go outside and think of the most random adventures during the summer.
We would race on the four-wheelers, play hide-and-seek around the WHOLE farm,
Have bicycle races from the house to the barn, explore the rustic items of the barn,
Build our tree house, and explore our “forest.”
My sisters and I would play a Barbie game for days on end.
We would dress up and pretend we were adults that had to go to work everyday,
But at night we became these famous singers who made millions of dollars.
Heidi would become our guard dog from all the paparazzi when we went outside.
Our shop became our HUGE mansion that we lived in and the house was our second, smaller house.
On cold, winter days we would race around the upstairs trying to find cover so we wouldn’t get hit by a NERF bullet.
(Nicholas always won that game.)
And other days we would be lazy and watch Disney channel all day or have a movie marathon day.

Now my “nothing to do” days are very rare.
I am usually busy working, going to meetings, practicing, or going to another random school event.
My “nothing to dos” now consist of staying up finishing homework, watching Netflix or TikTok,
Taking naps, or watching some of my TV shows.
I don’t remember the last time I walked around our farm or went into the barn.
I get home, go inside, get my stuff done, go to bed, and I’m leaving my house before sunrise almost everyday.
It keeps me very busy, but I wish I could go back in time and recreate all those adventures again.

They have changed so much and it shows how I have evolved into the person I am now.
