The daughter of billionaire Richard Marksman Sr., Olivia Marksman, is in love with her modern mansion in Los Angeles, her Chanel bag, and the newest iPhone money can buy. Her father, CEO of Marksman Luxury Dealers, just sold his last Rolls-Royce for the year and thought that it would be a great idea to celebrate with his family. Richard, knowing that he had not seen his brother, Mathew Marksman, for a while, believed that they should celebrate at the family farm in Ames, Iowa.
Nervously, Olivia gave in and hopped into the family's private jet and took off east to the Midwest. When deplaning, Olivia got the smell of fresh air and cattle manure as the airport is next to a feedlot. Awaiting their arrival, Mathew was there with his mud-covered 6.7 Powerstroke and his daughter, Daisy. Tired, they all go to the farm and get ready for supper. Beef roast and French onion dip for the bread was for supper. Though smelling really good. She could not get over the fact that she was just on a dirty, smelly old farm. As she goes to bed in the old farmhouse, she can hear the cool fall breeze coming from the windowsill. Olivia falls asleep, dreaming of being back home, when she is rudely awakened by the alarm clock at 5:30 in the morning. Forcefully being woken by the alarm clock, Olivia gets up and hears something from the kitchen. There in the kitchen is Daisy, cooking eggs and bacon for breakfast. Olivia rudely asks for her eggs sunny side up with lemon pepper. Daisy does not even know what lemon pepper is. “Eat those eggs, there’s work to be done”, says Daisy. Olivia ate her eggs quickly and grumpily, as there was work to be done on the farm. She got outside, and her Uncle Matt’s truck was gone, along with her parents, nowhere to be seen. Uncle Mathew comes outside, “They're in town for the weekend. You’ll stay with us and help around here.” Those were not the words that she ever wanted to hear. She tried to contact them, but she was in a no-service mode on her phone. No service. Stuck at a farm. A smelly, dirty, country farm. From here, Daisy tosses Olivia a shovel and a bucket and tells her calmly, “Go to the horse barn and pick up manure and put it in the wagon.” Discussed, she agrees to do it along with many other chores for the day. At the end of the day, Olivia was so exhausted that she skipped supper and went to bed, awakened by the alarm clock once again. A new day was here, and she got up by herself. So hungry, she goes into the kitchen where food was once again. This meal was devoured. Olivia would not have even cared about what it looked like; it was gone. Today, when Olivia goes to do chores, she goes out with more than her skirt, tank top, and heels. She put on some of Daisy’s overalls and muck boots. Back out in the lot, Daisy and Olivia get the chores done in half a day. Olivia was starting to enjoy her time at the family farm, although it did suck when she first got there. As nightfall comes around the corner, Olivia hears a truck coming up the drive. It's her uncle’s pickup. She was so excited that she could finally leave. When her parents get to the house, they show up with the newest Chanel bag there is. This was a trip to get some responsibilities out of Olivia, the spoiled billionaire’s daughter.
